Frequently Asked Questions

  • My office is located at 1400 North Coit Rd. Suite 1203 Mckinney, Texas 75070 . I provide in-person appointments and video/ tele-health appointments.

  • Online/tele-health is an effective method of therapy. You can expect to receive a secure video link via email or text which will allow us to connect in a video meeting room in real-time.

  • Therapy, also called counseling, is the process of meeting with a trained, credentialed therapist on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis to help you understand and change emotions, behaviors, thoughts, and patterns that are interfering with your ability to live life you want to live.

  • I am in network with Cigna insurance. If you wish to use an out-of-network insurance provider (ex. BCBS, UBH, Aetna), I am able to provide you with a Superbill for possible reimbursement from your provider for your out of pocket expense.

The private pay cost for 50-60 minute Individual Therapy sessions are $130, 90-minute Individual sessions $150, Couples/Family Sessions $150, & Group Therapy $40.

Cash, credit, and debit are all acceptable forms of payment.

  • Our first session will be different from a traditional therapy session. It will be a time for me to learn more about you, discuss why you have decided to pursue therapy, and your goals for our time together. This will also an opportunity for you to get to know me and ask questions you may have.

Please note that the initial session is not complimentary; it is a fully paid session. If you would like a free 15-minute phone consultation call (806)-318-8922 to see if I am a good fit for you in advance of the first session, I recommend you book this first.

  • The duration of therapy looks different for everyone. For some, 6 months following a stressful event like a breakup is adequate. If you are looking to change deeply rooted patterns and belief systems, the process could take longer. As we work together, I will periodically evaluate the progress to determine the appropriate time to end therapy
